At Batecs we have spent more than 35 years renovating kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes and villas in La Eliana, Valencia city and the towns of the Camp de Túria. We work with our own in-house team — we do not hand the work over to subcontractors you have never met — and it shows in the finish: the joints, the trims and the coordination between trades are our responsibility from start to finish. The challenge: a detached home with a boxed-in ground floor and a tired exterior. The solution: we opened up the kitchen and living room, renewed every service and clad the façade in natural stone for a bright, low-maintenance home.
A home with natural finishes
The challenge: to modernise the home without losing its Mediterranean character. The solution: a palette of stone and wood, new services and insulation, a kitchen built into the living room and bespoke joinery for a timeless home.
Villa with porch and outdoor areas
The challenge: to connect the interior with the outdoor area of the plot. The solution: large openings onto the porch, flooring that flows out to the terrace and an improved building envelope to gain light and efficiency throughout the home.

02 The heart of the home
Kitchen renovations
Kitchens renewed from scratch — from the classic white look to the handleless modern design or the open-plan layout with an island.
Classic white L-shaped kitchen
The challenge: to renew a closed-off, dated kitchen without spending a fortune. The solution: white Shaker-style units, a hard-wearing worktop and storage up to the ceiling, keeping the existing water points to keep the cost down.
Handleless modern kitchen
The challenge: a kitchen with clean lines that is easy to keep clean. The solution: handleless push-open units, a large-format worktop and under-cabinet lighting, with the plumbing and electrics fully renewed.
Open-plan kitchen with an island
The challenge: to open the kitchen up to the living area of a villa. The solution: we removed the partition wall and designed an island with a sink, running the water, drainage and electrics out to it and matching the flooring with the living room.

03 The wet room
Bathroom renovations
Bathrooms completely transformed: swapping the bath for a shower, seamless large-format tiling and clever solutions for small bathrooms.

The challenge: a dated bathroom with an under-used bath. The solution: a flush-fitting shower tray, large-format porcelain in warm tones and fewer joints for easier cleaning and a greater sense of space.

The challenge: a guest bathroom with real personality. The solution: dark tiling, a wall-hung basin and a made-to-measure shower screen; we renewed the plumbing and ventilation to prevent damp down the line.

The challenge: a master bathroom for a family in a rush every morning. The solution: a generous shower with a screen, a double basin and a calm grey palette, with plenty of storage for everyday life.

The challenge: a pool that worked with the house and was easy to maintain. The solution: a concrete pool, coping and anti-slip paving to match the stone of the façade, and a well-resolved bathing area for the summer.

The challenge: to make the most of the outdoor space all year round. The solution: the terrace, porch and pool surroundings renewed with careful waterproofing and materials chosen for sun and water, with nothing to redo for years.
