Why ask Batecs for your quote?

  • A free site visit and a free quote, with nothing to sign at the end of it.
  • A fixed written quote, itemised trade by trade, so you can see where every euro goes.
  • Our own in-house team. The people who walk into your house are ours, not a subcontractor we found last week.
  • One English-speaking contact, from the first visit to the day we hand back the keys.
  • 35+ years building around Valencia and La Eliana, and 4.4★ on Google.

Request your quote

Your name, a phone number, an email and a line about the job is enough. We reply in English, within 24–48 hours, to arrange the site visit.

Would you rather talk it through first? Ring +34 632 224 555 or write to info@batecs.es — you get the same person either way.

From enquiry to quote

From the first call to a fixed quote

1

Tell us about your project

Fill in the form or ring us. Tell us what you want to renovate, roughly how big it is and when you would like the work done. Photos help. They are not essential.

2

Free site visit

We come to the house, in Valencia or anywhere across the Camp de Túria, measure up and work out what the job actually involves. It costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

3

Fixed written quote

You get the quote itemised trade by trade. Read it, ask about any line in it, and if you go ahead that is the price you pay.

Want to know what happens after you sign? The stages of a Batecs job, and what you get in writing at each one, are set out in how we work.

No small print

What you get, and what it costs you

  • The visit and the quote are free. There is no call-out charge and no fee for pricing the work. We only invoice once you decide to build with us.
  • The quote is itemised, not one number. Demolition, plumbing, electrics, tiling, joinery, waste removal and the finishes are priced separately, so you can put it line by line against anybody else’s.
  • The price is fixed in writing. Once it is signed it does not move. If you decide to add something halfway through, it is quoted and agreed in writing before anyone starts on it.

In plain terms

What working in English actually means here

Batecs is a Spanish building company, and that matters rather more than the language. The legal cover, the trades and the 35 years on site are Spanish. The explaining is not.

  • A quote you can actually read — we sit down and go through it with you before anything is signed, so the document means something to you and not only to us.
  • The permissions priced in, not sprung on you later — the quote states whether yours is a job for a responsible declaration (declaración responsable) or for a full building licence (licencia de obra), who applies for it and what that adds. We deal with the town hall; you get told what came back.

Why a Spanish company that also runs the job in your language beats a middleman who only talks: English-speaking builders in Valencia.

Questions we get every week

Before you request your quote

Is there any cost for the quote or the site visit?
No. The site visit and the quote are free and carry no obligation. We only charge once you decide to start the work with us, and nothing before that.
How quickly will you get back to me?
Normally within 24–48 working hours of your request, to agree a time for the site visit. If you are out of the country that week, we can have the first conversation by video call and visit the house afterwards.
Do you work in my area?
We work across the city of Valencia, La Eliana and the whole of the Camp de Túria and l’Horta — La Cañada, San Antonio de Benagéber, Bétera, Godella, Rocafort, Náquera and Serra included. If your town is not on that list, ask us and we will tell you straight away whether we cover it.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes. After the site visit you get a written quote with every trade itemised, and that is the figure you pay. Anything you decide to add later is quoted and agreed in writing before that part of the work starts.
How many quotes should I get?
Two or three is sensible, and we would rather you got them. What matters is how you compare them: put them side by side line by line, never by the total at the bottom. A cheaper number nearly always means something has been left out — waste removal, making good after the plumber, the finish on the tiling, the bits nobody sees. And if a quote is one figure on one page, there is nothing there to compare.
What is included in the quote, and what is not?
Ours sets the work out trade by trade: demolition and waste removal, plumbing, electrics, ventilation, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, joinery, painting and the finishes you have chosen, with the materials named. It also states what is not included — usually the things you buy yourself, such as furniture, appliances and curtains, plus any town hall charges and technical fees that depend on the licence your job needs. Ask every quote you receive for that second list. The ones that do not have it are the ones that grow.

Rather speak to someone

Not a form person? Ring us instead

If it is easier to explain out loud, call. You get somebody who speaks English and knows the trade, not a call centre, and we can put the site visit in the diary while you are on the phone.

Most of the quotes we write are for full home renovations, villa renovations and concrete pools, but a single bathroom is priced exactly the same way. If you would rather ask something before you request anything, get in touch.
