Cheste is a town in the Hoya de Buñol (Foia de Bunyol), inland in the province, about 26 kilometres from Valencia and very well connected to the city by the A-3. It is a town with a farming and, above all, wine-making tradition: the Cheste Agraria cooperative, one of the oldest in Spain, has been producing wine for over a century — famous for its Moscatel — and that culture of the land and the bodega shows in the unhurried way people live in and inhabit their homes. Many people here also know the town for the Circuito Ricardo Tormo, but day-to-day life runs along different lines: the family homes that get renovated so people can stay in them.

That history has left two very different kinds of home, and that completely changes a renovation.
